About Us

Our Founder, Sze Chen, with more than 30 years of experience in teaching piano, voice and general music education privately and in schools, she is also a choral conductor with a specialization in voice pedagogy. She has been consulted on, designed and taught singing & choral programs in schools and choirs. She teaches students ranging from 4 years old and above. Some of her private voice students have successfully entered Eton College, St John’s College and The Pilgrims’ School in the UK as choral scholars and in the Singapore choirs under the Direct School Admission program. She also helps people in voice rehabilitation and public speaking. She enjoys working with people in developing their potential and building their confidence in singing and music-making through building their self-awareness and science-based teaching methodology. Sze Chen is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing in America. She has also undergone training in body mapping, a pedagogical method that promotes excellence in practice and performance through a right understanding of anatomy. With her unique training in voice pedagogy and choral conducting, she is frequently invited as a choral clinician, working specifically on vocal techniques for singers. A passionate music educator, conductor, and singer, Sze Chen believes that everyone can sing, and hopes to also make singing more accessible to others.
